The concept of Plume is very special to designer Anca, as the idea came to her during a difficult time in her life. Anca was diagnosed with advanced stage breast cancer in 2016 and her entire life was turned upside down. Aside from the journey, Anca had to face the emotional and physical roller coaster of losing her sense of self. Before her diagnosis, her lifestyle was very girlie and fluffy, along with her three young daughters spending many days in tutus and hair bows.
Once she began her journey to recovery, she could not find anything that would make her feel fabulous and fashionable. Having worked in the fashion industry for over 20 years she set out to create something comfortable and stylish. Spending a lot more time in her pajamas, Plume Designs was born!
